Amy has been assisting families with memorials and services since 2000, inspired to help families in the Evansville area in a compassionate manner.
Amy’s promise is for every family to be able to tell their life story in a meaningful way, assisting them as they honor the loss of a loved one. She leads the way with her staff to create a truly meaningful experience for everyone she serves.
Amy grew up in Wadesville, Ind., and graduated from North Posey High School. She continued her education at the University of Southern Indiana and later received her insurance license.
Married to Curtis Walton, she has two children, Crewz and Carly who both attend Scott School. Amy stays busy with school activities and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and being outdoors.
Director of Funeral Services
Eileen is an experienced and caring Funeral Director who provides families with services and memorial services, cremations and burials.
As Director of Funeral Services, Eileen leads the services home staff at Sunset, as well as oversees our other Indiana services homes and services. Eileen is dedicated to treating families and the loved ones in her care with dignity and respect.
A native of Illinois, Eileen received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting at Western Illinois University, and then went on to receive her Associates in Mortuary Science with Honors at Malcolm X College in Chicago.
She previously worked as Regional Manager for a Chicago-based services home as well as Funeral Director and Embalmer for several Illinois services homes before joining the team at Sunset.
Auston joined the staff of Sunset Funeral Home in September of 2017. Auston is a native of Cornelia, GA and is a graduate of Gutpon-Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur, GA.
Auston brings several years of services service experience to Sunset and he takes pride in offering the highest level of customer service to the families we have the honor to serve, Auston is a Funeral director and a certified crematory operator.
David Shipper, Owner
David Shipper is a third generation services owner who has been involved for more than 35 years in owning and managing services homes and cemeteries. Internationally known for his expertise in the industry, he has served as President of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (www.iccfa.org)—a 6,000 member organization with members in 23 countries and was inducted into the ICCFA Hall of Fame in 2014.
David owns and operates the Indiana Memorial Group, which currently is comprised of 10 cemeteries and services homes in Indiana. David’s previous experience includes Vice President of corporate development for The Loewen Group, Inc., a multi-national, publicly traded services and services corporation. While at Loewen, David led services and combination acquisition activities and was involved in the purchase of over 450 locations.
Aaron Shipper, President
Aaron Shipper is President of Rose Hills and has more than 40 years direct experience in the services and services services industry. He was Senior Vice President of Alderwoods Group, Inc., and served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Mayflower National Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Alderwoods Group Inc. Aaron also served as President of National Capital Life Insurance and Security Plan Life Insurance. He has served on the Board of Directors of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (www.iccfa.com a 6,000 member organization with members in 23 countries).
Amanda Bolli, Controller
Amanda Bolli entered the services and services industry in 1995 as part of the Corporate Development Team for The Loewen Group, Inc., a multi-national, publicly traded services and services corporation. She earned her MBA in Finance from Villanova and Rider Universities. During her career at Loewen she was responsible for the preparation and approval of every services pro forma, totaling 385 services acquisitions with a combined purchase price of over $500 million. Currently she directs all financial control, analysis, audit, and software implementation for the company.
