   Grandma Christie,

   I don’t think there is a person that is missed more than you on the planet. We joyously celebrate your home going. We rejoice that you are with your husband, your son and ultimately with Christ. We do not worry for you. Yet, we deeply grieve your passing. We deeply mourn that you are not physically here with us. I miss the seasoned smell of your cooking. Your long braid and many dolls. I miss your sweet disposition. Your humor, and your warm, welcoming heart. You loved deeply and you invited people in a way in which they feel so seen. No one can replace you. You were and are truly one of a kind. I miss you so much Reina. As you used to always say when we were kids, “Dios te bendiga. No vemos. Te amo mucho, mucho, mucho.” – Rachel
