life began in our Mom’s arms and for many was an adventure of good times with family, friends we made, laughters we shared and struggles we may have lived with but at the end we find peace in Eternal Life with those we dearly Love. Joe you Rest in Peace next to your Mom. You are now another Angel in Heaven. R.I.P my Friend.

Obituary: Joseph Michael Freda passed away suddenly on July 28, 2020. He was 56 years old. Joseph, “Uncle Joey” was born in The Bronx on September 10, 1963 to Joan Santos Freda Streppone and Antonio Freda. He was later raised as well by Stepfather Matteo Streppone. Joe worked for many years as a valued employee of Minolta, The Westchester County Airport and The Circle Medical Group in Norwalk CT. Joe really enjoyed living life and sharing it with others. He was always there to lend someone in need a helping hand. He was a lifelong Jets and Yankees fan and a self proclaimed foodie. He loved cooking, traveling, going to restaurants and concerts and of course the beach. He was a fighter through all the challenges life threw at him and he never gave up. His memory will live on and be cherished by his brother Fiore and his wife Barbara, sister Christine, nephew T.J. and his wife Stacy, nephew Brian, niece Candace and great niece Hannah Claire. He will also be missed by many extended family members and close friends, too numerous to mention. We can not thank them enough for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe’s name to: Keystone House 147 Main Street Norwalk, CT 06851 St Joseph’s Center 495 Maple Lane Valatie, NY 12184 Joe will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery in Putnam Valley, NY. There will be a memorial celebration of Joe’s life at a later date.
